Enterprise Software Advisory

Where product
strategy meets
market reality.

I run an advisory practice on both sides of enterprise software. Helping building organisations build better products, and helping buying organisations make smarter platform decisions.

Twenty years of experience across EHS, ESG, and workforce management combined with AI to accelerate both.

Sides of the Table

Advisory across both sides
of enterprise software

Most consultants sit on one side. I have spent twenty years on both — understanding what vendors actually build, and what buyers actually need.

For Building Organisations

Build and position
better products

For software vendors and product teams, I bring product strategy, competitive positioning, and go-to-market execution grounded in real domain expertise. I help companies articulate what they do well, compete in complex enterprise markets, and build products that solve the right problems. With AI embedded into the process, not bolted on.

For Buying Organisations

Make smarter
platform decisions

For enterprise organisations evaluating software, I provide independent, vendor-agnostic selection advisory. I define requirements, run structured vendor assessments, facilitate demonstrations, and deliver clear recommendations from initial scoping through to contract. Real-world operational fit, not feature checklists.

Hard-won expertise,
accelerated by AI

Twenty years of pattern recognition applied across product strategy, platform evaluation, go-to-market execution, and marketing operations.

Platform Evaluation

Compliance training provider — eLearning authoring platform evaluation and modernisation roadmap

Evaluated an existing compliance training library and assessed authoring platform options to support a full course modernisation program. Reviewed current content quality, instructional design approach, and tooling constraints, then scoped and assessed replacement authoring solutions to enable more engaging, interactive, and maintainable compliance courses at scale.

Deep experience in complex,
regulated environments

My domain depth sits in EHS, ESG, workforce management, and operations technology. Environments where software carries real regulatory consequence, and where the gap between what a vendor promises and what a platform delivers gets expensive fast.

The convergence of EHS and ESG has changed what enterprise buyers need from operations platforms. Safety data, environmental reporting, workforce competency, and social licence obligations are increasingly managed in a single system of record. I help organisations navigate that complexity, and help vendors capitalise on it.

I have also built software in these domains at CPO level, which means I evaluate platforms knowing what is genuinely hard to build, where roadmaps tend to stall, and what questions reveal the difference between a real capability and a demo-only feature.

Founder, ProductXPRT  ·  Co-Founder & CPO, DGXprt

I founded ProductXPRT to do work that sits in the intersection most consultants avoid — the space between deep product expertise and genuine market knowledge. For over twenty years I have worked in B2B enterprise software, first as a product leader building platforms, then as an advisor helping companies buy and build them better.

My career spans VP and Director of Product roles across global SaaS companies in EHS, ESG, risk, compliance, and learning technology. I have led product teams across Australia, the US, and the UK, launched enterprise platforms into competitive markets, and managed portfolios serving some of the largest organisations in resources, energy, financial services, and professional services. That breadth means I understand both what enterprise buyers actually need and what it takes to build software that survives contact with their operations.

On the advisory and evaluation side, I have led platform selection engagements for enterprise organisations assessing EHS, workforce management, and ESG reporting software — running structured vendor processes from requirements definition through to contract. I have also supported vendors on competitive positioning, ICP strategy, and GTM execution, including briefing analyst firms such as Verdantix on product direction and market positioning.

I also co-founded DGXprt, Australia's first AI-native dangerous goods compliance platform. That means I bring to every engagement the perspective of someone actively building enterprise software in a complex, regulated domain right now. I know what is genuinely hard to build, where vendor roadmaps stall, and what questions reveal the difference between a real capability and a demo-only feature.

AI is embedded in everything I do — not as a talking point, but as a core operating principle. The same tools and approaches I use in my own startup, applied to strategy, research, positioning, and execution for clients.
